SEAN SAN JOSÉ is the Program Director and one of the Co- Founders of Campo Santo (founded 1996)- a multicultural theatre company that brings socially relevant plays to life in direct and accessible ways. He has overseen the development, creation and production of more 50 premiere productions since 1996 including the first plays by Jimmy Baca, Jorge Cortiñas, Junot Diaz, Dave Eggers, Chinaka Hodge, Denis Johnson, Greg Sarris, Luís Saguar, Vendela Vida, and others, and premieres of multiple works by Philip Kan Gotanda, Jessica Hagedorn, Naomi Iizuka, Octavio Solis, John Steppling, Erin Cressida Wilson, and others, most recently premiering works by Richard Montoya and Luis Alfaro. He worked for 15 years as the Program Director of Performance for Intersection for the Arts.
