Trauma is a well-known phenomenon in the Pure Awareness traditions of esoteric Tibetan Buddhism and is considered the ultimate obstacle to realization.  In tantric yoga, through a series of somatic practices, practitioners are enabled first to create a safe and stable ground in the non-dual state for addressing trauma; then to open pathways so that early, previously unconscious painful experiences can communicate themselves to consciousness; and finally, how to allow unresolved emotional dilemmas to make their own journey toward healing and resolution.   In this workshop, we will explore several practices to suggest how the ultimate non-dual state of the body can become an arena for the resolution of trauma at all levels.

Dr. Reginald "Reggie" Ray is the co-founder and Spiritual Director of the Dharma Ocean Foundation, dedicated to the evolution and flowering of the somatic teachings of Tibetan Tantra. He is a lineage holder in the tradition of Chögyam Trungpa, Rinpoche. Reggie is the author of several books and audio series including Touching Enlightenment and Mahamudra for the Modern World. He makes his residence in Crestone and Boulder, Colorado.

*Reggie Ray is the Keynote Speaker of the Nondual Wisdom Conference and this event is a pre-Conference workshop.

*6 BBS CEs are available (MFT, LCSW, RN)
