The Integral & Transpersonal Psychology for Chinese Students at CIIS is a 1, 2, or 3 week program that introduces participants to a variety of counseling approaches synthesizing scientific research evidence, clinical best practices, and multicultural perspectives.
Students are expected to have sufficient English proficiency to participate in the classes which are offered in English. The program is open to advanced undergraduates majoring in psychology and to practicing counselors. To ensure an intimate learning environment, the number of students is capped at 25.
The cost of the Integral & Transpersonal Psychology program is $2600 for the ten days of coursework and lunches during class days (July 25-29; August 1-5). Students will also have an opportunity to tour CIIS' counseling centers.
The cost of the Integral Psychology for Chinese Students: Emphasis on Family, Parenting, and Child Health program is $1300 for the five days of coursework and lunches during class days (August 8-12).
Students can attend all 15 days of coursework for $3900 (July 25-29; August 1-5; August 8-12)
Students are responsible for arranging their own round-trip travel to San Francisco, as well as sleeping accommodations and meals (aside from lunch on class days, which is included). Sight seeing before or after the academic programing is also up to students to arrange.
Students who apply by the priority deadline of May 15th will receive $100 off tuition. The final deadline for applications is June 20th (extended to June 27th). Full refunds (minus a $25 processing fee) will be offered for cancelations made before June 27th. 50% refunds will be offered until July 20th. After that no refunds are possible. Payment and registration are not a guarantee of acceptance. Student applications will be reviewed before an acceptance letter is sent. Full refunds (minus a $25 processing fee) will be granted to students whose applications are not accepted.
