It is like learning how to walk in the dark. California Institute of Integral Studies, 1453 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA 94103 false MM/DD/YYYY

Our bodies have a natural sense of inner knowing. We can feel authenticity in ourselves and in others. However, this innate wisdom is often obscured by our conditioning - the core limiting beliefs, reactive feelings, and somatic contractions that fuel our sense of struggle and veil who we really are.

In this experiential workshop, based upon John's acclaimed, new book - In Touch: How to Tune in to the Inner Guidance of Your Body and Trust Yourself - we will explore the process of becoming more inwardly attuned through body sensing and self inquiry.

We will learn how to be intimate with difficult feelings and sensations, using them as portals to uncover essential qualities. We will also learn a new, highly effective method for identifying and seeing through our core negative beliefs based upon the evocation of our deepest heart wisdom. Finally, we will experience the four most common somatic markers of inner knowing: a relaxed groundedness, inner alignment/aliveness, open-heartedness, and spaciousness.

While our inner knowing helps us to navigate life's challenges more gracefully, it also points us towards our true nature as open awareness. Discovering this leads to a deeply intimate and authentic life.
