In this class, two powerful teachers share some of the most effective sacred technologies of the east: Tantric goddess practice, and the science of sacred sound. The kiss of the Goddess of bliss is the inner touch of Shakti, the subtly sensuous feminine energy that underlies everything in existence-but is often hidden from awareness. As we learn how to experience her presence in our body, speech, and mind, this energy reveals our creativity and our ability to surf the currents of life. We'll work with myth, vocal meditation, and contemplative practices that strengthen your physical and subtle bodies, dissolve emotional blocks, and quiet the mind.
Using myth, mantra, and movement, Nakkach and Kempton lead a series of profound exercises aimed at unlocking the energies of your subtle body and opening doorways to the experience natural love, by invoking the Goddess Lalita. Since sacred sound is the key to this awakening, we'll practice deeply with vocal meditations, devotional chants, and the ragas-practices to transform emotions and open your capacity for empowered speech, creativity-and, yes, more love!
Sally Kempton is known for her capacity to make esoteric knowledge practical and alive for contemporary students.
