Drama therapy is an experiential form of psychotherapy that utilizes improvisation, theatre games and techniques, and psychodrama as tools for personal growth and change. It is playful, yet sparks insight. It promotes spontaneity, creativity, emotional expression, autonomy, and cognitive and behavioral change.

This workshop will introduce participants to this powerful means for changing self-defeating patterns and practicing new roles and constructive behaviors. No previous theater experience is necessary. Shy people are welcome!

Facilitated by Living Arts Counseling Center Interns:

Jennifer Stuckert, MA, Marriage & Family Therapist Intern (#64158), is a drama therapist at the Living Arts Counseling Center, where she works with individuals, couples, and facilitates groups. She supports clients in developing creative approaches to life challenges, with a focus on enhancing self-esteem, learning to regulate feelings, practicing presence and embodiment, working through creative blocks, deepening intimacy, and making empowered choices. She is supervised by Armand Volkas, RDT, MFT (MFC#28789).
