Mel Schwartz

Mel Schwartz is one of the first contemporary psychotherapists to distill the basic premises of quantum theory into therapeutic approaches that enable people to overcome their challenges and live to their fullest potential. He developed a self-change model that has become a practical personal transformation guide for individuals, couples and families to master their own thinking. His approaches assist in working through limitations, activating defining moments, embracing life's uncertainties, and recognizing, then acting upon new perspectives. Schwartz is the author of the forthcoming The Possibility Principle: How Quantum Physics Can Improve the Way You Think, Live, and Love (Sounds True, Fall 2017). He's authored 100+ articles for Psychology Today, and writes regularly for his Illuminating the Possibilities Blog. In private practice for more than two decades, he's an LCSW from Columbia University and a Masters of Philosophy from England's Lancaster University.
