Dr. Haridas Chaudhuri, one of CIIS' founding visionaries, was the first to apply principles of integral education to higher education anywhere in the world. While he wrote and lectured on this topic, his efforts were largely practiced through development of CIIS. A fully developed conceptual and practical paradigm for a whole-person educations at CIIS is in the early and exciting stages of development. The Center for Integral Teaching and Learning (CITL) is a new initiative dedicated to the research and development of an emerging and comprehensive model of integral education. This event will cover a range of topics in integral education through panel discussions, experiential exercises, and sharing of current best practices by faculty and scholars dedicated to living the vision of integral education at CIIS.
