New discoveries in neuroscience show two things: 1) we can radically improve how our brain functions beyond what science has previously known, and 2) how we can build a better brain. This talk brings together material scattered in obscure scientific journals to present simple yet far-reaching steps to enhance cognitive function. Low rates of neurogenesis (the process of making new brain cells) are associated with cognitive decline, memory problems, stress, anxiety and depression. High rates of neurogenesis are associated with cognitive enhancement, memory improvement, and protection from stress and depression. Come and learn the basics of an integral/holistic plan to increase neurogenesis and upgrade your brain to a higher level of functioning at every age. The earlier you begin, the greater the results!
