The International Student Recruitment and Advising Manager, Jody O'Connor, at California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) leads internationalization efforts that highlight CIIS as experts and leaders in the field of psychology and the humanities.
Located in the Dean of Students Office, Ms. O'Connor serves as a resource center for the University's vital international linkages by supporting the development of agreements and partnerships with universities and U.S. government agencies abroad; promoting the involvement of CIIS faculty members, staff, and students in projects, and related activities; and providing services to the over 100 international students studying on campus at CIIS.

CIIS will sponsor the IX International Transpersonal Conference taking place in Salvador, Brazil. Esteemed CIIS faculty Frank Echenhofer (Professor, PSY) and Glenn Hartelius (EWP PhD alum, and Director of the Integral and Transpersonal Psychology degree) will be keynote speakers and present their work to over 700 attendees.

The 2nd annual Psychedelic Psychotherapy Forum: From the Couch to the Cosmos, created and organized by CIIS alumni gives CIIS the opportunity to highlight CIIS as a cutting edge leader. Frank Echenhofer (Professor, PSY) will be presenting, along with other experts including CIIS alumna Yalila Espinoza (EWP) and Vancouver's own Dr. Gabor Maté. CIIS has the great opportunity to sponsor the 11th Biannual Conference of International Expressive Arts Therapy Association, the first in Asia. Previous conference co-chair, Denise Boston (CIIS Director of Diversity and Inclusion), Expressive Arts Therapy (EXA) Program Chair Shoshana Simons and several CIIS students will be in attendance and presenting. The conference will host 500 participants is a unique chance to learn about the state-of-the-art, expressive arts therapies and also connect with world-renowned pioneers in the field.
