Integral Teaching Fellowship
A unique opportunity for CIIS graduate students interested in teaching at the college level
I am Korean and a Ph.D. student at Asian and Comparative Studies at CIIS. I received my B.S. from Seoul National University in Korea and majored in the study of Religion at the same institution and Syracuse Univ. in the U.S. In Korea, I taught math and English to high school students, and in the U.S. taught Korean language to Korean American students as a volunteer, and as a part of a scholarship program, taught a couple of Hinduism courses to college students. My interest includes divine feminine heroism, divine and human identification, images of the self, cultural ways of seeing, in the Hindu textual and folk traditions, and recently, studying at CIIS and traveling to India, I came to be interested in the cultural mode of integral education.
