Interdisciplinary Arts

A career-long artist, designer, writer and journalist, Kary Hess incorporates the magical arts into all her creative work including her most recent project, the SparkTarot™ deck, for which she painted the images, wrote the guidebook and designed the packaging, the deck is available at www.sparktarot.com. Kary has a degree in Art from Brigham Young University and owned a graphic design business for over a decade, creating websites for brands and nonprofits. Other work includes producing a feature-length art film in 2019, writing stories for San Francisco Bay Area alternative newsweeklies and magazines as well as fine art painting and illustration, featured in national and Bay Area publications. She is a mother and creative entrepreneur living in Petaluma, CA.
