Interdisciplinary Arts

Courtney Lynn Weixel is a teacher, theatre artist, and filmmaker based in the Bay Area. She is currently enrolled in the MFA program at CIIS where she is developing her play, "HER." As a filmmaker, Courtney enjoys creating short films, and has written and produced several works: "Suddenly Strong" (2014), "Amelia" (2017), and "The Story of 2020" (2020). Working with young artists brings Courtney the greatest joy, and after finishing her MFA she looks forward to returning to teaching the dramatic arts, with a focus on creating new work.
