Ecology, Spirituality, and Religion

Christopher Mare started out adult life in the Navy, so didn't get to university until age 35. What a joy that was to begin organizing a formal epistemology after already having accumulated substantial life experience. The subsequent academic trajectory can be summarized as Permaculture Design to EcoVillage Design to Urban Village to Traditional Village to Neurophenomenology of Design. Mare was conferred with a PhD in 2016 after completing a dissertation entitled, "Designing for Consciousness: Towards a Theory of Environmental Design Using Neurophenomenology as Methodology." His current interests include adapting Sri Aurobindo's Integral Yoga as methodology to explore the aspiration of Becoming Gaia.
