This course introduces the basic concepts of biomedical practice, including history taking, physical exam and diagnostic testing, treatment methods, and treatment contraindications and complications. The western clinical perspective on hematological disorders, endocrine disorders, neurological disorders, psychiatric disorders, musculoskeletal disorders, disorders due to physical agents, hospice care, dermatological disorders, urinary and renal disorders, disorders of the urogenital system and sexually transmitted diseases are discussed.
