Integrative Health Research

School of Professional Psychology and Health IHL 6066 3.00

This course is focused on applying research skills and concepts that are needed to execute successful health research. Coveted are formulating research questions; performing literature search and review; conducting focus group interviews; developing survey questionnaires; reliability/ validity testing; identifying proper research designs; sampling procedures; data management and analysis; and communicating the findings. For data analysis, SPSS will be used. Students will have experiential learning opportunities to be actively engaged in various aspects of research.
