EXA Advanced Seminar: EXA and Trauma

This class focuses on developing an understanding of what trauma is and how it functions. The course discuss the ways in which the body, the imagination, and one’s capacity to symbolize are affected due to trauma. Students will learn how to explore the ways that expressive arts and somatic psychotherapies can be effective as interventions in helping clients to recover from trauma.
