Course Descriptions

This course is an opportunity for students to take a step, or even a quantum leap, forward in their counseling abilities in a safe, supportive, mentoring classroom atmosphere. It features dyad practice with intensive, individual, and specific coaching and feedback from the instructor and classmates, as well as exploration of “growing edge” issues of greatest value to the student in their future work with clients. Wherever they are in their development, students are helped to strengthen and enhance their therapeutic skills and self-awareness, including building upon feedback they have received from instructors to this point. ICP or ICPW student
