Course Descriptions

This course is the practicum component for Shiatsu Therapeutics. Students develop and expand clinic skills in providing shiatsu in the clinical setting. Students review assessment and treatment protocols for common musculoskeletal disorders. During each class there is a group discussion regarding problems that the student may have encountered, what worked well, what did not, and how to modify therapeutic techniques to better meet the individual needs of each patient. Prerequisite: ACM5527. ACM5527.
