Don't miss a delightful evening of celebration in honor of CIIS's visionary founders, Haridas and Bina Chaudhuri. At each annual Chaudhuri Dinner, CIIS honors an individual whose life exemplifies the selfless service modeled by its founders. This year, CIIS is pleased to present the 2016 Haridas and Bina Chaudhuri Award for Distinguished Service to Acharya Shunya Pratichi Mathur for her extraordinary achievements as a distinguished Vedic scholar and practitioner. We will also celebrate a new faculty position at CIIS, the Haridas Chaudhuri Endowed Chair for South Asian Philosophy and Culture, which will ensure that Indic spirituality and philosophy—so critical to the founding mission of university—will be taught in perpetuity.
Hosted at a new location in Foster City, the event will feature a silent auction with excellent packages, including a wine country tour and barrel tasting, privately catered ayurvedic chef's dinner, ayurveda wellness consultation, feng shui starter pack, traditional Chinese natural beauty products, acupuncture treatments, and more.
Join us for an evening of connecting with friends, musical entertainment, libations and hors d'oeurves, and a three-course meal catered by one of the Bay Area's finest Indian restaurants, Amber India.
