How do I change my address?
You can download a Change of Address form here or call the Registrar’s Office at 415.575.6126, or pick up the form outside of the Registrar’s Office.

How do I register online?
Find complete instructions here for online registration. The online registration site address is http://pathway.ciis.edu. To log in you will need to know the following two items: Student ID# and your PIN #.

What does the grade option "OP" mean?
This means that a course is offered for either a Letter Grade or Pass/Fail option. Pass/Fail is the default. If you wish to change the option to "LG", letter grade, please send an email to registrar@ciis.edu. More on grading options here.

How do I request a transcript?
Find complete information on transcript requests here. Complete a transcript request form (downloadable here) and either mail the request to 1453 Mission St., San Francisco, CA 94103 or FAX the request to 415.575.1267. Transcript requests must have your signature and payment information.

What constitutes half-time or full-time enrollment?
You enrollment status is dependent upon your academic division (i.e., undergraduate, masters or doctoral) and either 1) the number of units you are registered for within the semester; or 2) if you are registered in one of the following: a practicum or professional seminar; a comprehensive exam; a dissertation proposal writing or seminar course; an internship; or a culminating seminar. Please see the Registration Policies and Procedures page for a comprehensive listing of which courses qualify for which status.
