| TaKeTiNa: Discover Yourself with Rhythm
Zorina Wolf
Our bodies are an interplay of diverse rhythms—our heartbeat, our breathing, our footsteps, and even our speech patterns. Experiencing TaKeTiNa means using your body to access rhythm through stepping, clapping, and vocalization. By embodying these three different rhythmic movements you can connect to deep inner silence and develop a powerful pathway to vitality and relaxation. This workshop offers an opportunity for self-discovery in your own individual journey in time while participating in a larger rhythmic community.
| Zorina Wolf, a student of the late West African virtuoso percussionist Baba Olatunji, has been teaching drum classes for 12 years. She saw the potential to take rhythm to a deeper level when she met Reinhard Flatischler, the developer of the TaKeTiNa process,
and completed a three-year basic training in 2001
and an advanced TaKeTiNa training in 2003. |
