Bio-Tuning® and Sonic Induction Therapy™ are modalities of healing designed to balance the brain and the nervous system. Using precisely tuned frequencies and technologically formatted sound, these techniques bypass the rational mind and alter consciousness, affecting the mind-body connection. In this workshop, Jeffrey Thompson will cover the physics of sound and vibration, the anatomy and physiology of hearing and the way we process vibration, and reveal the potential for accessing deeper regions of the unconscious mind through primordial sound.
Through listening to various sounds and psychoacoustic 3-D recording techniques, participants will have the opportunity to experience the effects of acoustics, vibration sense, and brain-wave entrainment. They will also learn how the scientific use of sound can enhance specific states of consciousness for physical, emotional, and mental healing; mega-learning; expanded awareness; and ecstatic states of meditation.
| Jeffrey Thompson, DC, BFA, is a physician, scientist, educator, musician, and composer. He is the director of the Center for Neuroacoustic Research in Encinitas, California, known for its cutting-edge research into the effects of sound in healing and consciousness. Dr. Thompson teaches postgraduate courses and trains clinicians in the use of Bio-Tuning. His work is used in research and clinical programs in universities, hospitals, clinics, spas, and businesses, and by individuals. |
