The Emerging Synthesis of Archetypal Astrology and Depth Psychology

According to renowned psychiatrist and cofounder of transpersonal psychology Stanislav Grof, archetypal astrology has proved to be "a true Rosetta Stone for the human psyche." It can provide invaluable insight into both the timing of psychological states and the character of individual predispositions. At the same time, the extraordinary advances of depth psychology in the past century have brought equally significant illumination to the astrological tradition. This workshop will address some of the specific ways in which these two great disciplines, each a via regia ("royal way") to the soul, enrich and illuminate one another.
