| Lucid Dreaming
Fariba Bogzaran
Lucid dreaming, or the awareness of dreaming while in the dream state, is
a powerful spiritual practice of awakening to the greater dimensions of the
creative mind. The practice of lucid dreaming challenges our perception and habitual patterns. In this workshop, Fariba will focus on the phenomenon and practice of lucid dreaming in the context of spiritual experiences, creative inspirations, problem solving, and nightmares, and as a practice to prepare
us for dying. Historical phenomenological research on lucid dreaming will be
discussed, as well as current scientific discoveries. Participants will learn
practical tools for remembering dreams and engaging in lucid dreaming, and for reentering dreams as they listen to the rhythmic sound of drumming.
