Zuleikha

Join Storydancer Zuleikha in this very special evening workshop
that combines movement, the sacred space inside the breath,
and the inspiration of the mystics. The workshop is a prelude
to CIIS’s The Rumi Concert:
Only Breath, to be held on Thursday, November 17, at San
Francisco’s Herbst Theatre. Zuleika is one of the concert’s
featured performers.
Everyone is welcome. No prior experience in meditation, music,
or dance is required—only a desire to open the heart
and stir the soul.
| Zuleikha is a
performance artist and teacher in the art of movement
and rhythmic language to inspire and increase
awareness of the body and health. She has trained
intensively for many years with master teachers
of healing and movement in Eastern and Western
traditions. Zuleikha works with thousands of people
of many nationalities in the United States and
abroad. Her enthusiasm and love of movement bring
people into an awareness of cultural differences,
as well as of their common human heritage.
