CIIS Public Programs Somatics Series
Oct 22 2011

This series offers workshops by some of today's innovative leaders in the field of Somatics, a holistic and interdisciplinary approach that integrates movement, body sciences, bodywork, and psychology to help us understand more about our body/mind and move toward greater integration.
The presenters represent a variety of somatic disciplines and applications of somatics, including creative process and ecology (Olsen / McHose), therapeutic process (Eddy), and mindfulness / meditation (McHugh).
We invite you to take the full series at a discounted fee, or to join us for individual workshops.
The CIIS Somatic Movement Series is facilitated by Susan Bauer, MFA, RSME/MT, a dance/somatics educator who has taught in both college and community settings in the U.S. and Asia over the past 25 years, informed by her background in dance, Authentic Movement, and Body-Mind Centering®. She serves as Adjunct Professor at the University of San Francisco and at John F. Kennedy University, and has a private practice in Berkeley, CA as a Registered Somatic Movement Educator / Therapist. Susan is also a past Fulbright Scholar to Bali, Indonesia, and led the 2009 Arts and Spirituality tour to Bali through CIIS Public Programs. www.susanbauer.com
