Beginning summer 2008, CIIS will assume two New College of California (NCOC) programs: an MA/MFA in Creative Inquiry, Interdisciplinary Arts and an MA/MFA in Writing and Consciousness. The Institute will offer courses required by current NCOC students to complete the program and expects that some students will satisfy all degree requirements by the end of summer 2008, with others completing during the 2008-09 academic year.

A welcome event for students in these programs is being planned for late spring 2008.  Further details regarding this event will be posted on the CIIS Web site when they are available.

CIIS is committed to adopting both of these programs for future enrollment, subject to accreditation approval from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Prospective students should check the CIIS Web site for announcements about the curriculum and admission.
