Deborah Koff-Chapin created Touch Drawing,
a technique in which images are created
by using the fingertips on paper, in 1974.
She is the founding director of The Center
for Touch Drawing, an adjunct professor
at CIIS, and has served on the board of
the International Expressive Arts Therapy
Association. Her work is seen internationally
in the form of SoulCards 1 and 2,
inspirational decks that evoke insight and
creativity. She is author of Drawing
Out Your Soul and The Touch Drawing
Facilitator Workbook. Through Touch
Drawing, Koff-Chapin has been able to delve
into deep transpersonal levels of expression.
In this exhibition, she displays a range
of approaches to Touch Drawing, from multi-layered
and richly colored images to a series that
records subtle transformations of consciousness.
All images in this exhibit are now available
for purchase as prints at www.touchdrawing.com.
