The Emerging Artist Exhibition
affords the opportunity for several artists
from the Bay Area community to display their
work, as well as receive financial support
for exhibit materials through the Phyllis
Jackson Memorial Fund for the Arts. Phyllis
Jackson was a member of the CIIS senior
administrative staff and worked as Director
of Communications from 1990 to 1998. She
was also an accomplished painter whose work
has been exhibited at a number of galleries
throughout California.
