| Spirit
in the Arts at California
Institute of Integral Studies celebrates
creativity and the divine. Informed by Eastern
and Western artistic traditions, Spirit
in the Arts offers art exhibits, lectures,
and workshops that integrate the spiritual
and the aesthetic aspects of the human experience.
This spring our exhibits speak to the theme
of journey--as experienced by the artists
through their travels around the world,
and through their inward explorations of
the human psyche. The artists utilize an
array of media to express the creative essence
of their work, including documentary photography,
two-dimensional relief paintings, and the
use of everyday objects. Also this spring,
Spirit in the Arts will be offering
emerging artists in the Bay Area the opportunity
to show their work at our second annual
Emerging Artist Exhibit and reception. Click
on any title for more information.
