All instructors for this program are graduate-level scholars and/or advanced yoga practitioners with specialized training, many of whom are core faculty at CIIS.

CIIS understands that you have many life activities to jugglethat's why we offer individual courses that fit your needs, with a choice of weekend intensives and weekday evening mini-courses. We also have facilities throughout the Bay Area that afford you greater access to our courses.
Advanced courses for yoga teachers
and experienced yoga practitioners
While open to all, courses marked with an asterisk (*) are advanced and have been developed specifically for yoga teachers and advanced yoga practitioners. All yoga teachers enrolling in the Certificate in Integrated Yoga Studies program are strongly encouraged to enhance their educational experience by completing at least two of these advanced courses from any content area.
Many of our Integrated Yoga Studies courses may be applicable
for teacher-training certification. Trainees should consult
with their yoga school to learn which of our courses meet
their respective teacher-training criteria.
CIIS Library privileges
Active students enrolled in the Certificate in Integrated Yoga Studies program are allowed full usage of the Laurance S. Rockefeller Library at CIIS (with its extensive collections of leading-edge research materials on Asian and Southeast Asian topics).
Affordable enrollment fees and
no commitment to a lengthy degree program
Once you enroll in Lifelong Learning's Certificate in Integrated Yoga Studies program, you will receive the student rate on all Integrated Yoga Studies courses, and you may register on a per-class basis. Best of all, you have up to three years to complete the 100 hours required to earn the Certificate in Integrated Yoga Studies.
