| The
Actor as Wounded Healer
Shelley Mitchell
Designed specifically for people who are not actors, this
workshop will focus on the core power of actors, and how this
power can be useful in the lives of nonactors. Participants
will develop fearless interpersonal communication skills using
the techniques of "Method" acting, which will allow
them to interact emotionally with a high degree of self-awareness
and consciousness.
Utilizing scripts from plays and films, participants will
enact their chosen roles with all the emotional juice and
insight they can bring to them at the conclusion of the workshop.
Shelley Mitchell will serve as the acting coach, helping participants
to release repressed emotional energy through the creative
and healing process of "acting." For more information
