| UNDERSTANDING
THE
INVISIBLE MAN:
PSYCHOTHERAPY WITH
MALE CLIENTS
Mark Fromm
Using a wide range of clinical material, music, film, poetry,
and self-reflection, this seminar for therapists of both genders
will detail the unique challenges and opportunities of working
with male clients. Participants will discuss theories addressing
male development and gender training, and learn therapeutic
principles and strategies unique to working with men.
Time will be provided for participants to explore and ask
questions related to their particular experience of working
with men in their practice. Participants will leave with a
greater understanding of, and appreciation for, the experience
of being a man in this culture.
