DISCOVERING YOUR
ELEMENTAL NATURE:
THE FIVE RINGS OF YOGA

Dinndayal Morgan

"Your vision will become clear only when you look deep within your heart. Who looks outside dreams; who looks inside awakens."
— Carl Gustav Jung

This workshop will explore the nature of the elemental Five Rings: Wind, Water, Fire, Ground, and Space, and how they relate to body-mind types and the different styles of yoga asanas. Each person has an individual constitution, thought process, and body type that is more closely aligned with a particular element. Through the discovery of your individual body-mind type, you can learn which type of yoga practice is best suited to your elemental nature. In turn, by connecting with the asana practice that best fits you individually, you can discover ways to let go of negative pathology, find balance and centered presence, and learn how to have true heart in your daily practice and in your life.

Dinndayal Morgan is director/cofounder of Pathfinder Institute and the School of Yoga Heart Meditative Movement. He is also the director of the Bay Area Chapter of the International Association of Black Yoga Teachers. He is a certified Kriya Yoga teacher, a specialist in Five Rings Movement Psychology, and a professor of martial science, 7th-degree black belt in Chinese Kempo, Ju Jitsu, and Eagle Claw Kung Fu. Dinndayal is the author of numerous books, including Self-Esteem Through Elemental Movement Re-Education and coauthor of Yoga Heart Meditative Movement.
