Julia Zarcone , M.A., C.M.T., is the Assistant Director of the Integrative Health Studies Program at CIIS. She teaches the Fundamentals and Advanced Integrative Health Sciences courses for the program . She received her B.A. in Literature from the University of California, Los Angeles, a Certificat de la Langue Francais from the Sorbonne, and a Master’s in Interdisciplinary Social Science at San Francisco State University. Julia has an active Rosen Method Bodywork practice a nd grounds her work in the heal ing arts with an earth-based spiritual practice . She has many publications in the medical research field from her ten years experience as a researcher at Stanford University . Julia also helped to open the first Integrative Health Medicine Clinic at Stanford and served as a consultant to Consensus Health Care.
