Janis Phelps received her Ph.D. in
Clinical Psychology (1986) from the University
of Connecticut. Her research and scholarly
writing has focused on child development,
clinical studies in enhanced expectancies
and treatment, and mind-body wellness as
it correlates to psychotherapy outcome.
Her theoretical orientation is in transpersonal
and wellness therapy models, Eastern disciplines,
and the interaction of meditation and creativity.
