Judith Glass, Ph.D., is a licensed Clinical
Psychologist and a Certified Trainer, Educator,
Practitioner in Psychodrama, Sociometry,
and Group Psychotherapy. She received her
Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California
School of Professional Psychology-San Diego
in 1995 and her M.A. in Drama Therapy from
New York University in 1984. Dr. Glass is
the Chairperson of the Board of Examiners
of Psychodrama, Sociometry, and Group Psychotherapy.
The Board is in charge of the certification
standards in Psychodrama.
Dr. Glass has presented action methods
in training with diverse groups ranging
from physicians to counselors to police
personnel. In addition to being a professor
in the Drama Therapy Department at CIIS,
she is a founding member of the Living Arts
Counseling Center, a creative arts therapy
center in Oakland, California. Dr. Glass
is in private practice in San Francisco
as a psychotherapist and a trainer. She
is also employed by the Department of Veterans
Affairs as a therapist specializing in the
treatment of assault and sexual harassment
survivors.
