Kate T. Donohue, Ph.D., REAT is one the
founding core faculty members of the Expressive
Arts Program at CIIS. She is the founding
member of the International Expressive Arts
Therapy Association (IEATA) and has served
in many roles including the development
of the Registered Expressive Arts Therapy
standards and ethics code as well as executive
co-chair. She is now an active honorary
advisor to IEATA. Her thirty years of teaching,
clinical work, consultation and training
are informed by her passion for marrying
expressive arts therapy and Jungian thought.
She is a special interest in cross-cultural
dance, the sacred feminine and ritual around
death, which has been inspired by her love
of travel. Kate is currently studying West
African and Afro Cuban dance.
