Community Mental Health, M.A. in Counseling Psychology


NEW FALL 2008

M.A. Concentration in Community Mental Health California Institute of Integral Studies' new MA concentration in Community Mental health offers a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and meets the academic requirements for Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) licensure in California. An advanced certificate is also available for those who already have a master's degree in counseling psychology. Both programs have been designed to build a culturally competent and diverse mental health workforce especially trained to provide effective therapeutic services to the growing number of clients with severe psychopathology, often combined with dual and triple diagnoses, substance abuse, or homelessness.
