Philip Brooks joins the core faculty of
the Integral Counseling Psychology Program
after being an adjunct faculty member there
for six years. His background is in Psychosynthesis,
a transpersonal psychology, which he focused
on in his doctoral program at the University
of Massachusetts. In addition to training
people in Psychosynthesis for the past 25
years, Philip also served as the Assistant
Director of the Transpersonal Counseling
Psychology Program at John F. Kennedy University.
He also helped found Hospice By the Bay
and served on their Board for ten years.
He is enthusiastic about teaching psychospiritual
counseling essentials and is appreciative
of the opportunity to do this at CIIS.
