Robert Owings: The Compassion of Dark Energies

The Compassion of Dark Energies, Shamanic Consciousness, and Death Work

An evening conversation with author Robert Owings, M.A.

Since his early childhood, Robert Owings, author of the award-winning visionary novel Call of the Forbidden Way, has had an intriguing relationship with what he calls “dark energies.” These are not forces of “evil,” but rather energies of transformation that tend to be teachers rather than healers—and that attend the domains of death. Come hear Robert speak about this little-discussed but important area of shamanic consciousness, and how he works with such energies to help the souls of those who have died suddenly or traumatically—and may be disoriented and "stuck"—to move on to what waits beyond.

Bring your questions, insights, stories, and curiosity for a participatory evening.

Robert Owings holds a master's in philosophy, cosmology, and consciousness from the California Institute of Integral Studies and has been an explorer and guide in the field of consciousness for 30 years.
