The Clinical Psychology program continues
to expand its ability to address the needs
of our students and stay abreast of advances
in the field.
Recent research and training applications
for the consciousness and physiology research
lab equipment have emphasized its functionality
in the field. The portability of the equipment
has enabled students working with Professor
Frank Echenhofer to study brain correlates
of psychological functioning outside of
the laboratory environment.
Research conducted in the Amazon Basin
in South America, as well as closer to home,
has resulted in several publications and
international presentations.
While the research opportunities for students
remain the same, there is no longer dedicated
space for a laboratory. However,
with its expanded facilities at San Franciscos
Fox Plaza, located just blocks away from
the Institutes main building, CIISs
Clinical Psychology program now has more
space for its classrooms, faculty offices,
and the Psychological Services Center. There
is also space at the new bulding to use
the lab equipment on site.
For more information please contact Dr.
Frank Echenhofer.
