Admission to the Program

Application Deadline: July 1, 2006.

Scholarship gifts for Fall 2006 Admissions are available.

Applicants to the Integrative Health Studies program must have completed a bachelor's degree and have prior college-level coursework in biology, anatomy, and physiology. Applicants must also have prior college-level coursework in psychology, sociology, anthropology, economics, health sciences, or religious studies. Prior experience—coursework or job training—leading to knowledge of and familiarity with medical terminology is also strongly preferred.

In addition to the general admission requirements, the program requires applicants to submit the following:

• Official, sealed transcripts from all previously attended
accredited universities/colleges.
• An autobiographical statement that reviews the applicant's experience—personal and/or formal—in the health care field and discusses the applicant's experience with personal growth, self-exploration, or spiritual development.
• A professional/academic goal statement.
• Two letters of recommendation, preferably from colleagues in the field of integrative health.

Admission is granted for the fall and spring semesters.
