The Living Inquiries: Dissolving Addiction in the Most Direct Way with Scott Kiloby

Part of the Nondual Wisdom & Psychology Conference>>

Scott Kiloby has merged the wisdom of the nondual traditions with Western psychology's focus on core self-esteem issues, resulting in an experiential approach called "The Living Inquiries." This approach is helping many people all over the world. The inquiries give us the tools to unravel the knot of words, images, and bodily energies that make us feel as if we're suffering. Freed of the struggle, we can naturally experience joy, spaciousness, and freedom in the present moment. His presentation will focus mainly on the "Compulsion Inquiry." Addiction to certain substances and activities shows up as a compulsive movement of thoughts, emotions, and sensations. Scott Kiloby's "Compulsion Inquiry" targets compulsion so that it releases itself. But addiction also has, at its roots, such mental stories as "I'm worthless," "I'm not good enough," or some other self-esteem issue. These core beliefs are uprooted using Kiloby's "Unfindable Inquiry." In addition, he will introduce the "Anxiety Inquiry," which deactivates the energy of anxiety that comes with addiction and withdrawal.

Scott Kiloby is the creator of the Living Inquiries, a direct, experiential approach that reveals the emptiness or "unfindability" of separate selves and things. These tools relieve human suffering on all levels from addiction-to anxiety, to depression, to relationship conflict, to the constant yearning or longing people often feel on the spiritual or self-development path. When people immerse themselves in the Living Inquiries they often discover a simple joy and freedom that was previously unavailable. He is also the creator of a new addiction/recovery method called Natural Rest for Addiction, along with an effective tool for dissolving addiction called the "Compulsion Inquiry." The Natural Rest website is www.naturalrestforaddiction.com. He will open the Kiloby Center for Recovery in Palm Springs, California, based on this work. Kiloby is also the author of several books: Love's Quiet Revolution: The End of the Spiritual Search, Reflections of the One Life: Daily Pointers to Enlightenment, and Living Realization: Your Present Experience...As It Is.
