Awakening from the Trance of Unworthiness
The greatest truths are the ones me most regularly forget. One is that if we don't love ourselves--the aliveness taking form right here and now--we won't love our world. This talk examines the experience of deficiency that accompanies a sense of self and covers over loving awareness. We'll look at strategies we employ to feel better that reinforce the sense of basic separation and deficiency, and practices of unconditional presence, inquiry and self-compassion that decondition trance. The session will include a guided meditation and time for questions and sharing.
