Pauline Oliveros

Pauline Oliveros is one of the most influential figures in experimental music over the past 50 years. As a composer and improviser, she has created definitive and original works using a classical electronic music studio, modular synthesizers, and her own Expanded Instrument System, which combines any acoustic instrument or voice with software transformations she has designed. Pauline has written extensively about music, consciousness, and humanitarian concerns.
