Melinda Gardiner

Melinda GardinerMelinda Gardiner is a Registered Nurse and Certified Music Practitioner®, with an extensive background in integrative healing modalities since 1969. She is a Complementary Therapist for Community Hospice of Columbia-Greene Counties, Catskill, NY and a teacher of Therapeutic Touch. Melinda is the Executive Director and a faculty member of the Music for Healing and Transition Program, Inc.(MHTP), a national educational Certification Program, which trains musicians to serve the ill and dying with live therapeutic music. Melinda is a singer and harper, a liturgical musician and cantor at St. Bridget’s Church, Copake Falls, NY. She currently serves on the Board of the National Standards Board for Therapeutic Musicians, Inc., the Termonn Trust, Inc. and The Sound and Music Alliance, Inc. Melinda is the author, with Mona Peck, of Shadows of the Living Light: Songs of Hildegard of Bingen and Five Songs for Therapeutic Musicians.
