Faculty and Alumni from the Expressive Arts and Drama Therapy Programs to Present at Conference in PeruJul 28 2011
Faculty members and alumni from CIIS' Expressive Arts Therapy and Drama Therapy programs will be traveling to Lima, Peru, on August 10-14, 2011, to present at the conference, "Living with Uncertainty: Multiplicity as a Healing Pathway Through Expressive Arts." This conference is sponsored by the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association (IEATA).
The following Expressive Arts Therapy and Drama Therapy faculty and alumni will be presenting:
- Keynote panel will include EXA faculty Stephen K. Levine and Ellen Levine.
- "Dream the World into Being" with EXA faculty Syntha Lorenz and EXA alum Delfina Piretti.
- "Nourishing the Individual and Collective Soul: A Person-Centered Approach" with EXA faculty María Gonzalez-Blue.
- "Roots, Rhythms, Role Play: Tree of Life through Expressive Arts" with EXA core faculty Denise Boston and EXA alum Francisca Lizana.
- "Tender Hearts, Awakening Hearts: Expressive Arts Groups for Grieving Youth" with EXA alum Andrea Bass.
- "Liberation from Authority Complex: Theatre Creating Multiple Ways of Seeing" with EXA faculty members Linda Hammond and Kate Donohue.
- "Rasa in the Mirror: Savoring the Self through Expressive Arts" with EXA alum Roché Wadehra and Stephen Julich.
- "Embodied Imagination in Action: Accessing Deep Wisdom through Art and Drama" with Drama Therapy alum Sylvia Israel and Elizabeth Plummer.
- "Radical Self Take-Over: Using Psychic Capacities and Expressive Arts" with EXA alum Valerie Tate.
- "Earth Consciousness: Cultivating Inner Guidance with Ancestral Wisdom" with EXA alum Nicki Koethner and Lorena Lobita Wolfman.
- "Working in the Soul Field: Explorations in Intermodal Expressive Arts Supervision" Courtney Rush with EXA alums Courtney Rush, Karina Collia, Bethann Rea, Tuyet-Lyn Aria, Jane Siegel, Lisbeth White, and EXA faculty Linda Hammond.
