ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Join us in this daylong retreat/workshop to help open the door of everyday mystery and awareness. To the Sufi, work, study, play, everything one encounters, and especially every being one meets, are all pathways to awakening. According to Sufi teacher Hazrat Inayat Khan, "If there can be a definition of spirituality, it is the tuning of the heart." The cultivation of this quality is one of the gifts of the Sufis.
In this gathering we'll use the traditional tools of sound, silence, stillness, and movement. Recent and classical poetry, storytelling, and song will also fuel us on our journey. Special attention to developing magnetism by means of the breath will help attendees instill good health and balance in their lives. Group practices will promote happiness and depth of character.
